There are a lot of new tricks in Animal Crossing: New Horizons. This allows you to catch fish and insects when they are not normally there.
In Animal Crossing: New Horizons, there are plenty of fish and insects to catch. These have quite varying fishing times, so keep that in mind when you're playing. There is, however, a simple way you may employ to get past this and trap any animal at any time.
This is how the hidden trick operates.
The Mile Islands hold the enchantment, since the fish and insect spawns behave differently than the rest of the game. They are set once based on the time of your visit to the island.
On the island in the evening: This allows you to virtually freeze an island in time. In August, if you travel to the mile island in the dark, you can capture sharks and palm bugs, which can emerge more frequently there than on your own island.
After a fishing trip, instead of leaving the island, you just go into standby mode and wait until the next day. You will still be on the island if you restart the game at 11 a.m., for example. It gets even better because the spawns haven't changed. As a result, you can always catch the missing sharks or palm insects.
Collectors will appreciate: In August, there are still a few unique and, above all, uncommon Beetles that are only present for two months of the year. You are no longer restricted to evening hours using this approach, and you can catch them at any time. More information about how to catch these insects has been compiled for you. The same can be said about sharks who haven't been around long:
For the time being, time travel is not possible: Time travel can usually make a lot of Animal Crossing easier. However, this method is not achievable with it this time. If you leave the game to adjust the time, you will not be on the mile island the next time you start it. Of course, you may achieve a similar effect by simply traveling into the evening hours at any time.
Will you try the trick again to catch insects and fish that have gone missing? Have you caught all of the palm bugs and sharks in the last several weeks and don't need to use such deception?
